Issue #16 – A Morrison Number Five

Fear Itself: The FearlessThis week… Our titanic trio turns its sights on Grant Morrison’s ellipsis-loaded-5-ton-turd, Action Comics #5, and nobody but Jon likes Krypto the Superdog. We give compliments to Avengers: The Children’s Crusade, Batwoman and especially Archie Comics for their GLAAD nominations. Bob’s question of the week blows our minds… literally. Boom! studios jumps on the licensed properties train with Steed and Mrs. Peel, Wolverine and Crossbones duke it out, and we’re all pleased to see the occasional return of the letters page. All this and Jon discover that Steve Jobs was kind of a dick.

Face front, true believers, it’s Hold 322!

Can I ask a question? What is the deal with Nick Fury? He’s apparently been around since WWII, but, he still looks like he’s 30 years old. Is he a mutant? An alien? Super soldier? RetConned lucky bastard?

(I did finally figure out that the whole white / black thing a couple weeks ago)

    Thanks, gentlemen!
